Discarded PET bottles used for soft drinks, mineral water, etc, is a growing
environmental problem in many countries, since they are often just thrown
away in the streets and the garbage bins. It's bad for the economy and
a burden for the environment since the bottles do not decompose for 200-300
years. But this garbage can be transformed into valuable materials - and
it's good business!
A PET bottle recycling plant takes dirty bottles and transforms them
into clean PET flakes. This is an export commodity which can
be sold and used for many creative applications. And the flakes can
be further processed and reutilised with high commercial value.
PET RECYCLING PLANTS
REDOMA® offers a unique PET bottle recycling system that stands
out for its cost efficiency, flexible design and user-friendly operation.
It is available in 3 main sizes: PET 700, PET 1000 and PET 1300.
The standard plants produce clean flakes intended mainly for reuse in
sheeting, strapping, moulded parts, etc.
The plants can also be upgraded with a highly efficient friction
washer for obtaining flakes with very high purity required for food
contact applications (bottle to bottle process). And if you want to
produce flakes of lower quality intended only for producing fibres,
we also have simplified, lower-cost plants for this purpose.
Thus REDOMA® offers a wide range of PET bottle washing lines in
terms of capacity and purity of the flakes. Here are some important
